The Sense of Smell

Updated: Nov 7, 2023

This is the first sense to awaken when we are born and the last to leave us when we die which means allergies, colds and sickness often are attached to our sense of smell or our nose.

How does aromatherapy help us? Certain smells can relax us, revitalize us, give us more energy or slow us down. They can help us when we are sick or give us that nice beauty sleep we long for. I sell essential oils. In almost every scent imaginable. I make Hemp seed oil base soap using these essential oils. I have my preference of scents as I am sure you would also.

The sense of smell can also tell us more about our shadow self. We either like or dislike certain odors, perfumes etc. We find that many things we don't like directly reflects upon our own wayward adventures, or things we generally do not like about ourselves. Things we generally wish to forget. It could be the smell that was in a funeral parlor when parents or good friends have passed on, perhaps the smells that surround wars. Mermaid would be the wrong essential oil for you if your afraid of the water or scared to swim. But perhaps you like the outdoors, the smell of the woods at dusk, you would be in luck as Happy Men is like that as is cedarwood or sandalwood. There are studies going on currently and some have finished that concur the sense of smell to be one of the most vivid senses in our outcome towards life. Our happiness per say, and love of life itself.

I have found this to be utterly true, just as these cats have found with a catnip plant.

Lavender is a scent that you either love or hate. It is the number one selling essential oil so far for me as its relaxing quality whether in a soap or bath bomb or even in your oil burning containers, the relaxing quality to it is awesome. It removes negativity and brings a calm quiet sense to your home or office.

I sell two sizes of essential oil. The most common size is 5 ml. or 0.17 flu oz. The second is 10 ml or 1/3 flu oz. 5ml sells for $10.00 and the 10 ml. sells for $17.50.

My soaps all sell for $8.00 no matter the scent you wish. I shower everyday and shave with the bars I use and the lather well and last just over a month. Not bad for grade A soaps.

My bath bombs are large and would do several baths. once again it does not matter the scent you wish they sell for $5.00 ea.

In my next Blog I will go into the essential oils I carry and use and what they possibly can do for you.

Remember I am no doctor. If you are allergic to something please do not purchase it, unless its for a friend. Always when using a herbal product check with your doctor to ensure it will not interfere with your current medication. Though soaps and bath bombs shouldn't have that possibility one can never be to sure.
