Eucalyptus has been around for centuries and is used in many forms through the pharmaceutical industry. If you look at the cost of the products from cough drops to vicks you find your spending a small fortune throughout this season. Vicks alone for a jar can cost you from $10- $15 dollars. Now when you look at what is inside the jar yes keep out of reach of children. The Camphor and Eucalyptus not so bad but turpentine and " special Petrolatum" - They could even be dangerous to adults. Though the are small amounts within the jar.
My Eucalyptus salve can do the same as vicks. It can be added to a steamer and rubbed on the chest to help relieve congestion and stuffy noses. There is nothing more than Eucalyptus leaves infused in olive oil with shea butter and beeswax.
